Agent Based Modelling Training, 2025

The African Population and Health Research Centre (APHRC), with funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, is partnering with the University of Nairobi Centre for Epidemiological Modelling and Analysis (CEMA), Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Strathmore University and United States International University (USIU) to offer Agent-Based Modeling training from April 28 to May 9, 2025.

This course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of agent-based modeling. It will equip attendees with the skills to create and simulate autonomous agents, analyze emergent behaviors within dynamic environments, and apply agent-based models to address real-world challenges across various sectors, including public health, economics, and social sciences.
