Talk Summary: Adrian's research focuses on "digital one health", ie. developing novel approaches for integrating one health data streams to inform public health strategies.

In this talk, he will highlight how this is not limited to unravelling the biological signals in such data but also examines how it becomes a shared resource without violating ethical, legal and social boundaries. He will further explain how his group uses AMR as a use case for implementing Digital One Health and builds on a BBSRC Future Leader Fellowship research conducted in Uganda to examine the role of aut microbiomes of farmers and their pigs in the emergence and dissemination of AM genes at the human-animal interface. Their output feeds directly into strengthening one health strategy of Uganda, Kenya and Malawi National Action plans.
