Intensive Short Course Mathematical Modelling Of Vaccine Preventable Diseases

This comprehensive program combines lectures, discussions, and seminars with a series of in-depth practical sessions. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the underlying theory and have the opportunity to put these approaches into practice. The course will use the open-source programming language R and is suitable for life scientists, public health professionals, medical practitioners, and veterinary professionals based in low- or middle-income countries who are interested in learning quantitative approaches to infectious disease dynamics and control through vaccination.

Free online R statistics workshop for postgraduate students

The University of Nairobi (UoN), Centre for Epidemiological Modelling and Analysis (CEMA), Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Pwani University (PU), and KEMRI-Kilifi with funding from Cambridge-Africa’s Alborada Research Fund is offering a free online R statistics workshop for postgraduate students from 31st October to 25th November 2022.
