Free online R statistics workshop for postgraduate students

The University of Nairobi (UoN), Centre for Epidemiological Modelling and Analysis (CEMA), Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Pwani University(PU) and KEMRI-Kilifi with funding from Cambridge-Africa’s Alborada Research Fund is offering a free online R statistics workshop for postgraduate students from 31st October to 25th November 2022.
 

There are 100 training spaces available for post-graduate students from Sub-Saharan African universities with ready data for analysis. The successful candidates will receive online training in English from facilitators from the participating universities through a combination of:

  • One and a half hour online instruction session daily from 7.30 am to 9.00 am EAST AFRICAN TIME
  • One hour practical sessions daily from 4.00pm to 5.00pm EAST AFRICAN TIME
  • One week group project

 

This is a free online workshop. Interested candidates who meet the criteria above are encouraged to fill this form.

 

Application deadline is 10th October 2022, but reviews will be conducted continually. Successful applicants will be notified by 17th October 2022.
