Biography
Otiang is a Veterinary Doctor currently undertaking a Ph.D. in Applied Microbiology (Virology Option) at the University of Nairobi, Kenya, with joint supervision from Washington State University, through whom he is funded.
His research focuses on enhancing childhood nutrition and growth through targeted livestock interventions, a case of Newcastle disease vaccination on; survival and production of indigenous chicken, nutrition, and household socioeconomics in western Kenya. His research is in close collaboration with Prof Guy Palmer, Washington State University.
