Stevens Kisaka is an affiliate researcher at CEMA. He also teaches Epidemiology and Bio-statistics at the School of Public Health and College of Veterinary Medicine, Makerere University, Uganda.
He has a Ph.D. in Tropical and Infectious Diseases from the University of Nairobi which was funded by http://cartafrica.org/ and https://www.daad.de/en/. His PhD research was on the epidemiology of dog bite injuries; their management at community and health system levels; as well as their outcomes, in Uganda.
