John Gitau is a research associate, under the Malaria Modelling for Sustainable Public Health Policies in Africa, the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Research and Innovation Center, Centre for Malaria Elimination and the Centre for Research in Infectious Diseases at Mount Kenya University, and the Center for Epidemiological Modeling and Analysis (CEMA-Africa) at the University of Nairobi. John's research focuses on developing mathematical models to understand asymptomatic malaria in Kenya to inform malaria interventions by the Kenya National Malaria Control Program (NMCP)
