Victor Imani

Biography

Victor Imani is a passionate and dedicated Software Engineering intern at the Center for Epidemiological Modelling and Analysis (CEMA). He recently completed his degree in Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and is currently awaiting graduation. At CEMA, Victor utilizes his extensive skills in app and web development to support the center’s mission of advancing epidemiological research through technology. With proficiency in tools such as Flutter for mobile application development and Laravel for web development, he brings a strong technical foundation to his role. His experience includes working on various projects that integrate innovative solutions to address complex epidemiological challenges. Victor's academic journey has equipped him with a robust understanding of networking principles, database management, and cybersecurity. He is adept at streamlining data processes and enhancing the efficiency of data management systems. By leveraging his skills, he helps ensure that data is accurately and efficiently organized within databases, facilitating easier analysis and more insightful outcomes for epidemiological research. His collaborative spirit and problem-solving abilities make him a valuable asset to the CEMA team. Victor is driven by a commitment to leveraging technology for societal benefit, and he is inspired by CEMA's mission. He is enthusiastic about contributing to initiatives that enhance public health through cutting-edge epidemiological modeling and analysis. In his free time, Victor enjoys exploring new technologies, participating in hackathons, and engaging in community tech workshops to inspire and mentor the next generation of tech enthusiasts.
