Dr. Joseph Nkuranga is a clinical trialist with extensive experience in HIV care and support and program management. He is a Study Coordinator and Project Director at the Centre for Epidemiological Modelling and Analysis (CEMA) at the University of Nairobi where he has coordinated two clinical trials and other clinical studies. He also directs the CDC-funded Monitor and Prevent Antimicrobial Resistance project at the university. Prior to this, he was a technical advisor in PEPFAR-funded HIV service delivery projects across Kenya for 10 years. He holds a Bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Nairobi, Post-graduate Diploma of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in Epidemiology, and a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the University of London.
