Biography
Athanasio is a highly skilled health systems specialist with over 13 years of experience in the public health sector, curative services, and health systems strengthening. Known for his strategic leadership and expertise in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), he has contributed significantly to advancing healthcare policies, strategic systems, and sustainable reforms in Kenya and internationally.
He is currently pursuing a PhD in health systems financing through CEMA. He is in the final stages of a Msc in Health Economics at the University of York U.K, He has an Msc in Health Systems Management and Application from Kenyatta University, and a Bsc in Public Health.
