This seminar will explore the monitoring of air pollution and heat and their impact on public health and environmental systems. The presentation will cover current methodologies, measurement standardization, and the health implications of air pollution and heat stress.

Seminar Details

Dr. J.S. Henzing has been a climate and air pollution scientist for 20 years. In his role he was member of several European standardisation working groups on air pollution. In European projects, he harmonised air pollution measurements throughout Europe. Currently, he is manager of Climate & Air Quality research at TNO.

About Mr. F. Pekel

Mr. F. Pekel works as a scientist in the field of Toxicology and Environmental Health. Currently, his work focuses in (occupational) heat stress, modelling air pollution and epidemiological research at the Health & Living research at TNO.
