Abigael Gachemi

Gachemi supports health research projects by applying data analytics and programming skills including R to clean and analyze health-related data. She uses statistical and machine learning methods to uncover insights and develops dashboards and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making across Kenya and Africa.
Abigael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), where she developed a strong interest in statistics. During her time at JKUAT, she also served as a class representative, fostering collaboration between students and lecturers.

Outside of work, Abigael enjoys reading, traveling, and exploring the world of makeup.
