Ann is a medical anthropologist bringing social science perspectives into understanding health challenges in Africa. She is currently in her final year of a PhD in Medical Anthropology at the University of Nairobi, Department of Anthropology, Gender and African Studies. Her research examines vaccination adoption practices for East Coast Fever control among pastoralist communities.
Ann's expertise lies in bridging the gap between quantitative health data and the lived realities of people affected by health interventions. She specializes in integrating social science insights with epidemiological modeling to ensure that data-driven solutions are not only scientifically rigorous but also contextually appropriate. Her work strengthens the translation of research findings into effective, community-centred health interventions across diverse populations.
