Dr. Nyaikamba has joined CEMA as the Scientific Coordinator for the African Modelling Network for NTDs (AM2NTD) and Africa Modelling and Analytics for Women (AMAX) programs. A dedicated advocate for global health, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and more recently, an MSc in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).

Purity brings over seven years of experience in health policy and advocacy, program management and fostering strategic partnerships. Prior to joining CEMA, Purity held roles in pharmaceutical regulatory affairs and led partnerships and advocacy for the First Global youth organization dedicated to ending NTDs.
Passionate about the role of leadership and youth engagement in driving social change, Purity is a Mandela Washington Fellowship alumna, a member of the International Leadership Association and an Advisor and Honorary Life Member of the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation.
