Gloria Cherono is a Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Fellow at CEMA. She contributes to projects on Health Technology Assessment through research support, data analysis (R), and evidence synthesis - informing decision-making in health systems to promote efficiency, equitable access to care, and development of Kenya’s Health Benefits Package.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine and Community Health from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Health Economics and Policy at the University of Nairobi. She is also pursuing Data Science at ALX. She has worked as a Clinical Officer at the Nairobi Women’s Hospital.
Through the HTA fellowship, Gloria aspires to deepen her expertise in health economics and epidemiological modelling, strengthen her analytical and research skills, and gain practical experience in translating evidence into policy.
