Nell Valentine

Nell Valentine has joined CEMA as an Epidemiology Attachee, where she supports research activities across various public health projects. Her responsibilities include data cleaning, statistical analysis, interpretation, and visualizing health trends using R to support evidence-based research.

Nell is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. She has a growing interest in infectious disease surveillance and public health research, and brings both academic knowledge and practical skills to the field. Throughout her studies, she has developed strong competencies in statistical software, research methods, and health data visualization.

Beyond academics and work, Nell enjoys baking, hiking, reading, traveling, and learning new languages.
