Theophilus Barasa has joined CEMA as a Health Economics Intern, where he supports research and analytical efforts across a range of health policy and systems projects. His work includes supporting data collection and organization of clinical, safety, and cost information on health technologies, conducting literature reviews, assisting in evidence synthesis, and contributing to economic evaluations.
Theophilus recently completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree at Kenyatta University. He is passionate about applying economic and data-driven approaches to strengthen health systems and inform evidence-based decision-making.
Outside of work, Theophilus enjoys exploring innovative ideas at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and policy.
