Purity Mutisya has joined CEMA as an Epidemiology Intern. She is a data-driven public health professional with a strong background in Population Health Sciences and extensive experience in TB, HIV, and Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) programs. Over the years, she has contributed to health system strengthening through improved case detection, community-based interventions, and data-driven decision-making at both facility and community levels.

Purity is currently pursuing an MSc in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the KEMRI Graduate School. Her research focuses on disease surveillance, statistical modeling, and the use of health data to inform policy and practice. She leverages epidemiological evidence to enhance program design, monitor health outcomes, and support national disease control strategies.

Driven by a passion for improving global health and advancing equitable health access, Purity is committed to contributing to evidence-based public health programming that reduces disease burden and improves outcomes in underserved populations.
