Epidemiology and Economics
Claris Onyango is a research fellow from the Vector Borne and Neglected Tropical Disease Unit. and an MSc student in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at KEMRI Graduate School. She is passionate about epidemiological modelling of infectious diseases to guide strategic decision-making and operational planning.
Claris holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Health and Development from Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology. She hopes to learn and strengthen her skills in disease modelling and epidemiology at CEMA, to design data-driven tools to predict and mitigate infectious disease outbreaks and address public health threats.
