Alphonce Oyugi

Alphonce Oyugi is a Nursing Officer at Kenyatta University Teaching, Research and Referral Hospital and Projects Officer at the School of Health Sciences, Kenyatta University, and He has served as Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator on several funded studies focusing on maternal health, HIV, mental health, and innovations in point-of-care diagnostics. Alphonce holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Public Health from Kenyatta University, Fellowship in Point of Care Ultrasound from Global Ultrasound Institute, USA and has completed multiple certifications in bioethics, responsible conduct of research, and biomedical research (CITI Program). He is passionate about advancing ethical, patient-centered research and strengthening research capacity in Kenya through innovation, mentorship, and the integration of bioethics into practice.
